Christmas Appeal 2012

We need your help to back the children you have supported through the years as they grow into young adults and have a chance to fulfil their potential, something we take for granted.

This Christmas, 10 of New Hope's young people will be finishing secondary school. their dreams for Christmas are far removed from those of the chidlren in the UK.Their deepest desire is to have the chance of going on to do further training and make something of their lives.

Hannah's Story

" I joined New Hope Children's Centre in 2002 with my youngest sister Mary, after the tragic death of our mother. I was supported through my education and given loving care. When I finished high school Hand in Hand supporters sponsored my college fees so I could continue with my studies. Having completed my IT and secretarial skills courses, I managed to get a job and I have now had a promotion. I am an events manager! I am so happy that I had the chance to do my training so have a great job and can support myself and my family. I thank God for people like you who have made my wish become a reality."

With the cost of fees and accommodation of an average £500 per young person per year, having the chance to do training and get a job really is heartfelt wish rather than a reality.

Visit our justgiving page or send in your gift to help us reach our £5,000 target! Thank you helping  to make their wish become a reality.
