Indian for Iganga Returns

Back thanks to popular demand is the Hand in Hand curry night with Yasmin Indian Brasserie, Chelmsford (CM2 7QE)! Wednesday 15th June 7:30pm

We would love you to join us for an Indian for Iganga Curry Night and help us towards raising the remaining £1,800 needed for teachers salaries and secondary school students fees this year. Tickets are only £20 including a £10 donation for a delicious 2 course meal!

High Level Early Childhood Centre is providing nursery and primary education to some of the poorest in their community in Iganga. 237 primary school children and 172 nursery are receiving an education that they might otherwise not have. Teachers are the biggest resource for any school and in order to provide consistency in teaching, Hand in Hand are providing funding for regular payment of the teachers' salaries. £20 per month is sponsoring one teacher's monthly salary! This centre also reaches out to the orphans in the area and provides a home for those that have no extended family able to look after them. Some of these orphans have now reached secondary school level and so Hand in Hand are sponsoring some of the fees needed to help them reach their potential.

Will you join us for a curry and help us support teachers and children in Iganga?
